Oily skin and sun
Oily skin suffers from hyper seborrhea: sebum, this fatty substance which covers the face to protect it from external aggression, is secreted in too large quantities by the sebaceous glands.
As a result, the skin is shiny, difficult to mattify, and is often covered with imperfections. The pores are larger and become clogged easily; giving rise to blackheads and comedones, redness, white spots, and even acne can invade the epidermis.
The problem affects the entire face for oily skin, and only the T zone for combination skin (forehead, nose, and chin). This type of skin needs dedicated cosmetics, with light formulas, which moisturize and mattify without attacking the skin.
If your daily beauty routine has been designed to gently cleanse your face, hydrate it with fluid textures and permanently remove shine, you don't want sunscreen gel to ruin your efforts…
It would even be tempting to use it. To pass: the sun having a drying effect, in summer, you can see the number of imperfections reduce, and your skin regains a better quality.
Be sure to choose the right sunscreen gel for your oily skin
Oily skin, like all skin types, needs sunscreen - whatever the product is chosen (oil, gel, milk in a tube, pump, bottle or spray, organic or not...), it is essential for protecting against UVA-UVB rays, harmful to health and responsible for skin aging. Also, oily, acne-prone skin is often marked with small scars, pimples that can leave marks. Under the action of the sun, these can darken and turn into brown spots - unattractive hyper-pigmentation that can be avoided by applying the sunscreen gel for oily skin before each exposure.

How to Apply Sunscreen
It is extremely important to correctly choose the sun protection indices, to have optimal protection. But this is not enough, it is also necessary to apply the sunscreen effectively.
Apply the sunscreen liberally to all areas exposed to the sun, to form a uniform protective film. Most people don't put on enough sunscreen!
For example, it would take 2-3 tablespoons to properly protect an adult's face. Repeat the sunscreen application every two hours!
Reapply sunscreen after swimming or excessive sweating. This is valid even if the sunscreen says “water-resistant”.
