How to Get Rid of a Tan by Derma Essentia

Somehow, somewhere we’ve all experienced tan or uneven dark skin tone that we wish we could vanish with a simple spell. But getting rid of tan and protect your skin is not that much difficult as other people say.

Getting tanned is a defense mechanism by our body to protect the deep layer of our skin from the sun’s damaging UV rays. It is the biochemical subject for skin darkening or tanning. Your skin releases melanin under the surface layers of your skin to help absorb UV radiation. The more exposure the more tanned.

Protect Your Skin:

The best way to lighten a tan skin is to avoid getting it in the first place and give your skin a UV rays shield protection from Gel Sunscreen. Always wear a hat, sun protective clothing, and sun protective cream when outside.

Sunscreen should be reapplied every two hours.

Preparing for Outdoor Activities

10 AM to 4 PM is the peak hours with the probably maximum chance of getting tanned. Try to avoid all the activity between the peak hours when the sun’s UV rays are the strongest.

Wear protective clothing

UV rays can easily pass through clothes and give a tanned skin. Protective clothing is one of the best ways to protect your skin from UV Rays.

#1) Fabric with higher Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) than light-colored clothing would the best option for you.

#2) Fabrics, Densely woven: If you can easily see light through the fabric, then you can easily get tanned.

#3) Long sleeves and long pants will decrease skin exposure and provide the most protection.

#4) Most of the brands out there specifically designed for their UPF rating on the label. You must go to your UPF rating from 30 to 50.

Wear a hat and sunglasses

The face skin and your eyes are very sensitive, so additional precautions must be taken to protect them during outdoor activities. While a simple hat and sunglasses will help resist some of the risks, by reducing exposure risks with the use of a hat and sunglasses.
